About the books

Ms. Forbes has developed a new method for the processing of traumatic events. Her book is a “how to” method for therapists and mental health professionals. It requires some basic knowledge of implementation of therapeutic techniques including: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Hypnotherapy. Ms. Forbes has integrated skills from these techniques to develop a unique and highly successful method for processing trauma that allows for individualization of the experience to discover resolution. The highlights of her process includes: not having to verbalize the trauma and speedy resolution of reactivity symptoms.

The revised edition includes the step by step how to implement the 3 step method for trauma processing. However, the revised edition also includes both the testimonials and efficacy studies. The efficacy studies were conducted by four other therapists at a mental health facility. The therapists were trained by myself. Two of the four therapists were also processed by me prior to their training.
